In year 2009,
32 hours, 7 minutes and 14 seconds record was set by a couple in Germany.
This record has been recorded in Guinnes World Records.

In this year, a kissing marathon was held in Thailand.
The winner of this marathon will be winning a diamond ring worth 50,000 baht (RM4,970.77) and 100,000 baht cash (RM9,941.55).

In this kissing marathon, the couples have to stay on kissing all time.
Even when they are eating or drinking, they have to continue kissing.
So, they have to use straws for drinking.

The hard part, they are not allowed to sit, sleep or leave the venue.
However, they are allowed for bathroom break every three hours.
Although there is bathroom break for them to go toilet, they must not stop kissing as well.
So, they have to continue kissing while using the toilet.

It sounds interesting, isn't it?

14 couples have lined up to take part in the contest at 6 a.m. on Sunday.
The couples are ranged from 21 to 51 years old.

34 minutes after the contest started, one woman fainted. Others left after few hours.
Seven people successfully locked their lips for more than 33 hours, which is longer than previous record.
