Tropical Spice Garden, Penang.

It was quite a late post.

My friends and I went to Tropical Spice Garden beginning of this month. After such a long time, only I blog about it.

Tropical Spice Garden is located at Teluk Bahang, Penang. The place it situated was actually a place that it was once being abandoned. Thereafter, David and Rebecca Wilkinson together with a talented team transformed it into this garden with unique design and soul into a remarkable eco-tourism venture.

This garden was actually taking 1.5 years to complete. the work involved work of harmonising over 500 species of tropical flora. They preserve much of the original indigenous flora and fauna while maintaining the original topography of the site. A lot of trees were left undisturbed, which become good shelters for the visitors. The team has also re-routed the water from a waterfall nearby. We can hear a the voice water at many corners inside the garden.

Okay, let's see how Tropical Spice Garden looks like.

This is the counter where we make payment.

The prices as stated as their website are as follow:
- Family (2 adults and up to 3 children) : RM35 (self-guided), RM55 (guided tour)
- Adult : RM14 (self-guided), RM22 (guided tour)
- Child : RM8 (self-guided), RM8 (guided tour)

I actually not really sure with the price, as we actually went there with the vouchers I bought from group purchase, Everyday.

Besides visiting the garden, there is also a restaurant and a shop for you to buy the products.

We didn't take our lunch over there, so there is no photo for the restaurant.

It's quite a nice trip. However, it rained at the middle of our trip. Or else, I guess we will stay there for longer time.

Namewee At 1st Avenue

I believe a lot of Malaysians know about Namewee nowadays.
He is famous of putting facts and things happen in Malaysia into musics and songs.
He now put it into a movie, Nasi Lemak 2.0.

Have you watch it?
If you don't, and if you plan to watch, better watch it faster?
Rumours are saying that Nasi Lemak may be taken off from screen earlier than it planned.

Namewee came to 1st Avenue, Penang to promote Nasi Lemak 2.0 last Thursday.

Can you see the crowds?
It show how famous the movie is.
Some even say, it's a 'must watch' movie for Malaysian.

The event started at 8.30pm.
The MC showed out first.

Then, it's Namewee's turn.
The crowds are shouting 'WALAO EH' to call out Namewee onto the stage.

There are also some games played with the the audience.

See this.

What are they doing?

They are rushing to buy Namewee-related things in order to take it for Namewee to give his signature on the things.

Nasi Lemak 2.0 and Namawee are kinda popular now in Malaysia, aren't them?

Group Purchase - Western Food With Dessert at Prangin Mall

I earned RM330.35 in Everyday's affiliation program last month.
Now, I start to using the store credit.

I bought an offer today.
It's a western food with dessert at Prangin Mall.
It's only RM5.50 which is 53% cheaper than usual. (Normal price: RM11.80)

Recently, I will check out the deals inside group purchase web everyday.
It's a good idea. Group purchase really help us to save a lot of money, isn't it?

Previously, I was worrying that it was another way of cheating money.
But, after I tried it, I like it. It's a great idea.

The kids would be taking the lantern walking around the area.

Job Interview Yesterday

I went for job interview yesterday.
Well, I guess not much people know about it.
And, not much people know which firm I went for the interview.

Okay, let me say over here.
I went interview at Honglim & Associates, an audit firm.
It locates at Wisma KGN, near Penang island's jetty.

I felt so nervous before the interview.
I really wished that I would succeed.

So, how was it?
Yea, passed.
The boss gave me few more days to make final consideration whether to join them or not.
I think I don't need to do too much of consideration already.
I have surveyed about it before.
I felt happy to join them.

The salary offered, within my expectation, and I satisfied about it.

How much is it?
Well, I think it's better to keep it confidential.
Salary is a sensitive issue, isn't it?

Okay, now, I think I will reply to them next Monday to confirm my willingness of joining.

Friends, good luck to me ya!

My New Shoe

I guess a lot of people may surprise on something.

In sudden, I am going for a job interview tomorrow.
I feel a bit nervous of it.
Hope that I can still get into sleep tonight.

My old formal shoe was spoilt during my internship.
For tomorrow's interview, I need to seek for a new shoe.
I went Georgetown to seek for my shoe.

It was a tough mission for me.
Due to insufficient fund, my budget for shoe is only RM100.
It limited the choices.
Moreover, I was searching for shoe with size of 12.
Quite a big shoe ya.

I looked for a many shops.
When I found shoe I want, mostly there is no size for me.

When I almost gave up finding shoe in Prangin Mall,
a great shop appeared.
I found shoes and they are within my budget.
I asked the boss and he told me he has shoes for my sizes.
I tried it. And I bought it. It costs me RM49.

What makes me feel satisfied is that,
the boss is friendly.
We were talking for 20 minutes I guess before I left the shop.

A thumb up for the shop as well as the boss.
I will feel happy to visit that shop again next time.

Well, that shop is Mirano Shoe Enterprise.
