Google Maps Asks Us To Swim?

I am quite interested in Google Maps recently.
I made an experiment on the accuracy of time estimated by Google Maps 2 days ago.

Later on, I found something interesting.

I checked the direction from Xiamen, Fujian, China to Shihlin District, Taiwan.

And I found this.



Look at this!



And look at what's its instruction.



WHAT?! SWIM ACROSS THE PACIFIC OCEAN?!
