The Year of Dragon!

I didn't write any post in blog since Chinese New Year. And here I am.

Although I have one week holiday, I feel that it doesn't enough as I have a lot of things I plan to do. I have been busy of it this few days.

As our Chinese tradition, we will have reunion dinner a day before Chinese New Year where all the members of a family will gather together to have dinner together. My family had our reunion dinner at home on the night before Chinese New Year, or some people call it 'Chinese New Year Eve'.

We prepared steamboat as our reunion dinner. I think most of the people are having steamboat as reunion dinner nowadays, right?







I am actually quite busy and didn't really plan to update my blog today. But, something motivated me to update.

I received a CNY (Chinese New Year) card!

It's really rare to see people sending CNY card recent year, right?

Last year I received one and the only one card for last year CNY from my god-sister. This year, I received my only CNY from a blogging friend, EeSoon.

A Great Guy I Saw In Bus

Yesterday was the final working day. Yeah, I am going to have one week holiday.

Kinda long?

Initially I thought so too. But after drafted out my schedule, it looks like my schedule is totally full!

Anyway, when I was taking bus home yesterday, I saw something great!

When the bus came, as usual, people were 'fighting' to get on the bus. I don't like to 'fight' with them, I stood aside to wait others to get on first. Then, I saw a person was reading Wall Street Journal. Wow, it's quite rare to see people in Penang reading Wall Street Journal. Then, he gave me a good impression as he didn't 'fight' to get on the bus. He waited to be the final person to get on the bus.

Well, that's the the great thing yet.

The wonderful thing is.......

After he got on the bus, he picked up the rubbish on the bus. Wow! He is such a eco-friendly person. He impressed me a lot! The Earth will be feeling happy with existence of him, right?

I Love Vege @ Queensbay Mall, Penang

I bought I Love Vege's coupons from Everyday.com.my. It's expiring on today. Luckily I managed to used it before it expires.

I went there with my colleague after having exercise at Youth Park yesterday. it locates at Queensbay Mall's third floor.



From the name, I believe you can see from the name, they are selling vegetarian food. Besides healthy food, it was good in a healthier way.



This is the food we ate.

How? Quite healthy, right?

The best in the meal is the papaya. It's so sweet and tasty! I personally don't really like papaya. But this papaya, is so tasty!

Well, this meal cost me RM6.80 (purchasing from Everyday). Sounds expensive? But it's healthier. Health worth more than that. Anyway, if not mistaken, the original price should be RM13.90.

First Time On Langkawi Island

Cool, today is my first time going to Langkawi Island! Seriously, I never went Langkawi Island. I went to Payar Island before. Last time, I went there directly from Penang Island to Payar Island instead of taking ferry from Langkawi Island to Payar Island.

Anyway, it wasn't a holiday vacation, but a working trip. I was assigned a task on Langkawi Island. After our task and lunch, I bought some chocolates. Thereafter, we left Langkawi Island. So, I just have photo on jetty and ships. Anyway, let's pictures talk and give me a rest after traveling for long hours on ship.

Careless

Sometimes, I really couldn't forgive myself on my carelessness. Sometimes, I made stupid mistaken even the thing is very simple.

I have been trying to be more careful while I am doing things, but I still failed to overcome my carelessness.

I did some careless mistakes again today in my work. It made my mood down. I have been making a numbers of mistakes due to my carelessness. Even worse, sometime, I am repeating the same mistakes. It's kinda unforgivable to me.

My carelessness has caused me lost a lot of opportunities as well.

Let's back to my primary school. There is a story that I couldn't forget in my life.

I love Maths so much. And I am doing well.

Those who were with me during SPM probably know.

Comparing these two:
1. Getting A for all the subject.
2. Getting 100% for Maths and doing badly in other subjects.

I would chose the second ones. That's why my SPM result is so terrible.

During Standard 1 and 2, I won Maths competition in my school.



When I was in Standard 3, I started my journey of my carelessness. Due to my carelessness, I fail to defend my title. Not only that, I couldn't even won a consolidation prize.

Carelessness, why you love me so much? Can you please leave me? Please.....

This week, nothing special around me. I spent most my time in investment stuffs. This morning, I went for jogging with colleague.

Generally, nothing special happens this weekend.

Office Life

I found something interesting in Karming's blog. It's something related to office life. Here is it.

10.Never walk without a document -- People with documents look like hardworking employees headed to important meetings. People with nothing in their hands look like they're headed for the cafeteria. People with a newspaper in their hand look like they're headed for the toilet. BetWEEn , make sure you CARRY LOADS OF STUFF home with u at night, thus generating the false impression that you work longer hours than you really do.

9.Use computers to look busy-- Any time you use a computer, it looks like "work" to the casual observer. You can send and receive personal e-mail, chat and have a blast without doing anything remotely related to work. When you get caught by your boss , the best defense is to claim you're teaching yourself to use new software, thus saving valuable training dollars.

8.Messy desk -- only top management can get away with a clean desk. For the rest of us, it looks like we're not working hard enough. Build huge piles of documents around your workspace. PILE THEM HIGH AND WIDE.

7.Voice mail -- Never answer your phone if you have voice mail.Screen all your calls through voice mail. If somebody leaves a message for you and it sounds like impending work, RESPOND DURING LUNCH HOUR when you know they're not there -- it looks like you're hardworking and conscientious even though you're being a devious weasel.

6.Look impatient and annoyed -- SOmetimes ,the one who always try to look IMPATIENT AND ANNOYED to give off the impression that you're always busy.

5.Leave the office late-- Always leave the office late, especially when the boss is still around. You could read magazines and storybooks that you always wanted to read. Make sure you WALK PAST the boss' room on your way out. Send important e-mails at UNEARTHLY HOURS(i.e. 9:35pm, 7:05am, etc.) and during public holidays.

4.Creative sighing for effect -- SIGH LOUDLY when there are many people around, giving the impression that you are under extreme pressure.

3.tacking strategy -- It is not enough to pile lots of documents on the table. Put lots of books ON THE FLOOR TOOO

2.Build vocabulary -- Read up on some computer magazines and pick out all the JARGON AND QUOTES. Use the phrases freely when in conversation with bosses. Remember, they don't have to understand what you say, but you sure sound impressive.

First Post In Year 2012

Happy New Year once again!

This is the my first blog post in the year of 2012!

So, how's your celebration? Did you all go for count down? Anyway, I didn't go for any countdown event. I was just staying in house only.

Time's fast, wasn't it? New Year is over, and second day of 2012 is ending soon and welcoming third day of 2012. And, I am going to back to work again. Tuesday blue again.

This year, my resolution theme is "Developing Wealth and Health". Five resolutions have been set, in which four out of five are related to investment. The final ones is completing Penang Bridge Marathon. I have been saying that I want to join since years ago, I hope I would really join it this year. Anyway, I went for jogging again today with my colleague, I am moving towards my resolution, a good start, right?

Nothing special these two days. I spend most of my time in analysing and studying on investment. I really hope I can do well in investment this year. Wish me luck ya.

Nothing more to say for now. Again, Happy New Year. And, remember ya, it's already 2012, remember don't write 2011 when you are writing date ya! I am sure that a lot of people will forget. I think I will forget sometimes too.
