Happy Chap Goh Meh to all!

And, today is my big day! It's my birthday! I am officially 24 years old. I am getting old already. This year, my birthday wish is simple: to complete my resolution 2012 which I have set. Hope I really make it.

I slept at 1 a.m. to wait the clock to tick on the number of 12 to welcome my birthday. Once it passes 12 o'clock, I received a lot of wishes in Facebook. Even this morning, after waking, I noticed my Facebook wall was full of birthday wishes. I spent some time to thank to all the people who had been wishing me.






The world is changing right? Do you remember? When we were small, we used to sending birthday cards to people to wish them Happy Birthday? I wonder how many people are still doing that always.

1990s: Birthday cards
2000s: SMS
2010s: Facebook
2020s: ?????

Let's guess what will be the mediums of wishing birthday in 2020s.

Haha. We will know about that after 10 years.

How To Register As Taxpayer Online (e-Daftar)

Two days ago, I have just registered myself as tax payer. As our world is now in ICT era, a lot of things can be done through online. I registered myself through online.

Want to know how to register? Here are the steps.

1. Go www.hasil.org.my.

2. Click 'e-Daftar'.



3. Click another 'e-Daftar'.



4. Click 'Borang pendaftaran online'.



5. Fill in the form.



6. After completing the form, click 'Hantar'.



7. After you click 'Hantar', it will ask you to reconfirm your information. And after you confirm it, you will get your application number.

This number is VERY IMPORTANT! Do remember it!



8. You are required to upload a copy of your I.C. (identity card). You may upload it right away, or you may upload it within 14 days after your application. If you want to upload it, click 'Muat Naik Disini'.



9. There are some requirements on the photo of your I.C.

(i) only front side is required in which it shows your name and I.C. number clearly
(ii) only .gif file is accepted
(iii) the file size has to be in between 40k and 60k
(iv) file name has to be in alphanumeric only

*it's also better to put the word 'For IRB use only' on the picture for the safety purpose.

When you want to upload, click on 'Choose file' to select your file and follow by clicking 'Muat naik'.



10. You will see 'Dokumen Telah Diterima' after your upload is completed.



That's all. Then you can wait for confirmation from IRB (Inland Revenue Board).

The Year of Dragon!

I didn't write any post in blog since Chinese New Year. And here I am.

Although I have one week holiday, I feel that it doesn't enough as I have a lot of things I plan to do. I have been busy of it this few days.

As our Chinese tradition, we will have reunion dinner a day before Chinese New Year where all the members of a family will gather together to have dinner together. My family had our reunion dinner at home on the night before Chinese New Year, or some people call it 'Chinese New Year Eve'.

We prepared steamboat as our reunion dinner. I think most of the people are having steamboat as reunion dinner nowadays, right?







I am actually quite busy and didn't really plan to update my blog today. But, something motivated me to update.

I received a CNY (Chinese New Year) card!

It's really rare to see people sending CNY card recent year, right?

Last year I received one and the only one card for last year CNY from my god-sister. This year, I received my only CNY from a blogging friend, EeSoon.

A Great Guy I Saw In Bus

Yesterday was the final working day. Yeah, I am going to have one week holiday.

Kinda long?

Initially I thought so too. But after drafted out my schedule, it looks like my schedule is totally full!

Anyway, when I was taking bus home yesterday, I saw something great!

When the bus came, as usual, people were 'fighting' to get on the bus. I don't like to 'fight' with them, I stood aside to wait others to get on first. Then, I saw a person was reading Wall Street Journal. Wow, it's quite rare to see people in Penang reading Wall Street Journal. Then, he gave me a good impression as he didn't 'fight' to get on the bus. He waited to be the final person to get on the bus.

Well, that's the the great thing yet.

The wonderful thing is.......

After he got on the bus, he picked up the rubbish on the bus. Wow! He is such a eco-friendly person. He impressed me a lot! The Earth will be feeling happy with existence of him, right?
